Finnsheep Ewes

Scroll through each ewes photos to see most recent photo and a few past lambs. Each ewe is listed from oldest to youngest. Lifetime lambing percent; It is the total number of lambs the ewe has had divided by the number of years she has lambed.

She is a grey piebald ewe who gives plenty of color and markings to her lambs. She has a great crimp, she is smaller bodied but long and well built. She was a QT and has a 2-5-3-3-(3) lambing record.

Water Lily we got in 2018. She has a great staple with a large amount of crimp! She has excellent finn character with an overall finn appearance. She has a 2-(2+) lambing record.

Mickie come all the way from Washington State. She has nice thick legs and very strong muscling. Im very happy with her and can't wait to see what she produces this lambing season! (3)

Adda is most likely QR and her brother is Ari. Their dad come from Julie and George. Adda is bred to Bryce and we cant wait to see what they produce. He has strong muscling and a nice fleece. (1)-

Since moved to VT it put a lot of stress on my lambs. Though they are still ready to be bred i decided I didnt want more than 50 lambs this spring do to housing that she will be bred to lamb in fall of 2020.

This ewe is brown fading grey. She has a wonderful temperament and very well built. She throw nice large litters with even size at birth. This girl is a great mother and has a wonderful udder to feed 4 with out assistance. 3-3-3-4-3-(5)

This photo doesn't show it but she has a true dark brown fleece. Her staple, crimp are beautiful! She has a great finn character with an overall finn appearance. She stands strong on all 4 feet and legs. She has a 2-3-3-1 lambing record.

Hazel grew like a weed with Jordan! She is shorter but thick with muscle. Her fleece is dark grey with nice tight wave like curls. She is extremely hardy and thick! Lambing record 1-2-(1)

Maddie is a breeding from Claire and George. She is a very long ewe strong conformation. Excellent fleece and cant wait to see what she can produce! (1+)

Lambed in February rebred for July. Unexpected lamb

Excellent fleece on this ewe lamb. She was very ill when we got her but has recovered nicely. She will be bred to lamb in the fall. 

Bria is a Grey Badger ewe. Her fleece is very soft but felts very easily. She has brown, black and white piebald in her background. She is a triplet who as produced 3-4-3-4-1-(4) record.

Outstanding fleece on this Quad ewe. She was shown and many of the judges complemented her fleece.  She has color in her back ground and throws nice large excellent conformation lambs. 3-2-3-(4) lambing record. 

Jordan is a black finn ewe lamb who grew extremely fast! She has such a beautiful soft consistent fleece. She reminds me of her mom Lydia I sold in 2017 which was a very hard choice. She has such a long loin and she won many best of breed awards at fair in spring of 2017 and 2018. Lambing record 2-2

Vivi was a big ewe lamb. I pick her out for her size, conformation and fleece. She is the size of some of my adult sheep as a lamb and cant wait to see what she can produce for lambs. Cant wait to show this ewe!
